2027 Budget
The City budget affects our entire community – every single person – which is why it’s important to our organization that we’re hearing from Lawrence residents about what you prioritize. We take all of this input and figure out how to create a single budget that best fits the needs of our entire community and moves forward the goals we’ve identified in our strategic plan.
We're looking for community feedback in a variety of ways as we look to build the 2027 Budget:
- Submit your proposed budget via A Balancing Act
- Participate in a brief Survey. As the City begins planning the 2027 budget, City Commission asked staff to gather initial community feedback on two topics: Fire Medical Station 6 expansion and Parks, Recreation & Culture membership fees. This short survey is your chance to share your thoughts on those topics.
- Share your general budget ideas via the Ideas tab on this page. You can also comment on and vote for the ideas from other Lawrence community members.
- Send your budget questions to our team on the Questions tab on this page.
